If you like books that give you a bit of mystery, you should read this book. It is about a boy named Walter who doesn’t care about the world around him. All Walter dreams about is to live in the future. His bed makes him travel to the times yet to come but it is not what he expected; he wakes up to find himself in many different places. Meeting many people on his journey, Walter finds out how to care and keep an eye out for his world. So his bed travels back in to the present and he rushes to separate the rubbish in the bins and asks for a tree for his birthday to watch grow with his neighbour Rosie’s tree.
I would recommend this book to children aged 9+ as it is a tricky read and there are some words that may be a bit hard to understand. This book may make people smile, cry and laugh. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a confident reader.
